Long Live the Queens!
I have never been to Red Rocks before, and I must say it truly is an amazing venue with a spectacular view and great acoustics. Prior to this event, I was not very familiar with Gogol Bordello. They turned out to be a little better than I expected, but unfortunately, I quickly lost interest in their performance and found myself bored. It seemed that a significant portion of the audience shared my lack of enthusiasm, as very few people were actively engaged with the music. The atmosphere only changed when the Queens took the stage, and the venue became packed. Their graphics were impressive, and they truly rocked the house. Despite the energy of their performance, I couldn't help but wish my "best available" seats were closer, as my view was obstructed. Nevertheless, their sound was fantastic, and I would not hesitate to attend another show.
